Liturgy

The parish uses a variety of liturgy, including the modern language of the Book of Alternative Services and the sixteenth century language of the Book of Common Prayer. Morning Prayer and Holy Eucharist alternate weekly in three churches, (St Mark’s, St Stephen’s, and St Thomas’) with many special liturgies, throughout the year. Parish worship occurs at least four times a year when all congregations, organists, choirs come together to celebrate.

St Elizabeth’s Church, Springfield is open from Easter Sunday through to Thanksgiving Sunday, as well as on Christmas Day. Though a small congregation this group enjoys worshipping together once a month and welcomes visitors at all times. For 2018 worship is the 2nd Sunday of the month at 7 pm, except August when there will be morning worship.
