Prayer in time of Anxiety:
Merciful God, in the stillness of our souls we listen for your voice to know again that you are God. Quiet our restless hearts with the knowledge that you are near us, keeping watch over our own.
Re-kindle our faith and light the lamp of hope within our hearts. Then take us by the hand into each day that lies ahead, for where you lead we can confidently go with Jesus Christ our Lord.

Prayer for the Nation
Almighty God, you have given us this good land as our heritage. May we prove ourselves a people mindful of your generosity and glad to do your will.
Bless our land with honest industry, truthful education, and an honourable way of life. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion;
from pride and arrogance; and from every evil course of action. Make us who came from many nations with many different languages a united people.
Defend our liberties ad give those whom we have entrusted with the authority of government the spirit of wisdom, that there may be justice and peace in our land.
When times are prosperous let our hearts be thankful; and, in troubled times, do not let our trust in you fail. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.

BAS, p 682 Prayer for those in distress
Heavenly Father, have mercy on your children who live in distress.
Restore to them strength of mind and cheerfulness of spirit, and give them health and peace;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed by thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as you wash your hands! It gets a good job done.
Pray for one another – health, safety, need, patience. endurance….
Missing you all.
Blessings to you all.
